In 2012, Arthur Britto, one of the architects of the $XRP Ledger published in http://Bitcointalk.org calling the US dollar “monopoly money” destined to “continue to be devalued by the Government.” He also made statements about #BTC: “I tell all my friends they should have some Bitcoin. I tell for the simple reason that I don't want them to hate me for letting them miss out if and when Bitcoin becomes the world currency. The fact is Bitcoin is grossly undervalued. Bitcoin has the potential to be the WORLD’S CURRENCY and yet it only has a market cap of $50 million. If Bitcoin is adopted as the world currency, each Bitcoin would be worth $3.5 million in today's dollars.” Today we know #Bitcoin is a failed experiment, the average transaction takes over one hour to be completed and the mining fees are growing exponentially. It will never be the “World’s Currency.” I would rephrase Arthur saying “Today I tell my friends they should have some $XRP.” as we know for a fact @Ripple’s intentions to make $XRP the World’s Reserve & Bridge Currency.  $XRP  Back in 2012 #BTC market cap was 50 million and in comparison to today’s MC ($850 billion) it has increased nearly 16,600 times.   $XRP market cap is only 33 billion dollars. Crypto market cycles will not apply to $XRP. Why? Because if $XRP is the global bridge for transactions, it will obey a new paradigm which is to handle TRILLIONS of dollars per day and then per hour. The price cannot go down significantly when managing all the money. Only UP Yes, I hold an asset that has the “potential” to become the World’s Reserve Currency. Let’s say @Ripple has only a 1% chance to make it happen.
