This makes BRICs bigger than the G-7. And it gives them nearly half the world’s oil and mining output — which we're giving away to appease green activists. New members include long-time US “ally” Saudi Arabia. Which could mean an end to the “Petrodollar” arrangement that’s been a 50-year prop on the US dollar.
