Vincent Van Code@vincent_vancode · Feb 13 Market manipulation on @Binance at its finest.  This is the 1 Minute chart for #XRP and #BTC.   They both dump exactly at the same time in massive volumes.  EXACT, SAME, TIME! These are not whales or institutions sitting there in a chat session  going "1,2,3 GO DUMP NOW".  These are sophisticated bots that operate across multiple tokens, with a warchest of $100ms.  Wouldn't surprise me if it was Binance themselves doing this. I mean who is watching them? No one. No one reviews trades, cross match against order books and users.   Retail and anyone trying to trade this to make profit short term is either gambling or using bots themselves.  This is insane, no wonder everyone gets rekt, you buy, it dumps. You sell, it pumps.   The only way to participate IMO and win is HODL, just don't sell until you make large profits over time. ĐΛRKHØRSΞ™@DarkhorseDNME4 · Feb 13 It's because base liquidity is held in that pair. Imagine i had a gold ring and a ingot of gold the ring is worth 200 in scrap but it's market value due to the design and everything else is 400 and golds value dropped 50% the rings scrap value for the gold alone is now 100 instantly and because the golds value dropped the market also believes the rings entire value now is 250 Gold dropped 50% the ring dropped 38.5% loss both at the same time. Kazuya@youIyouADA · Feb 13 Well there's Big Balls , Harry(Hairy) Boltz(Ball), and then there's CZ's Big Shaolin Balls bots. Theories 1. Big bots are at play ,  squeezing all leveraged long or shorts. 2. Retail algo bots always lose. Leveraged ones lose faster. 3. Retail gamblers using high leverage always lose. 4. Retail bots always lose over time , Leveraged or not. 5. Looking at correlation patterns works until it does not for retail. There are no reliable high probability prediction here. 6. Tokens USDT pairs with USDT being opaque about  collaterals could be a cause  of the manipulation.
