Garlinghouse Says Ripple Is Developing New Programmability for XRPL; Ripple Announces 3 Key Initiatives in Korea

 

Ripple CEO 브래드 가링하우스는 XRP Ledger(XRPL) 개발 생태계에 향상된 프로그래밍 기능을 도입하기 위한 진행 중인 이니셔티브에 주목했습니다. 

 

Garlinghouse는 오늘 Ripple의 공식 X 핸들에서 나온 일련의 발표에 반응하면서 트윗을 통해 이를 알렸습니다. 

리플, 한국에서 3가지 핵심 이니셔티브 발표 

발표에 따르면, Ripple은 기관 채택과 블록체인 유용성을 촉진하기 위해 암호화 인프라의 기반을 강화하는 것을 목표로 하는 세 가지 주요 이니셔티브를 공개했습니다. 이 발표는 9월 4일에 열릴 예정인 한국에서 열리는  Ripple의 XRPL Zone Seoul 컨퍼런스 에 앞서 나왔습니다.

Ripple은 자사의 보관 사업부인 Ripple Custody가 메타버스 중심 기업인 FutureVerse와 협력하여 자산을 안전하게 보호한다고  밝혔습니다 .

 

FutureVerse는 XRPL 생태계에 낯선 사람이 아닙니다. 지금까지 메타버스 회사는 이미 XRPL NFT 표준을 채택하여 네트워크의 높은 처리량 기능과 낮은 거래 수수료를 활용했습니다. 

 

또한 FutureVerse는 XRPL 네이티브 분산형 거래소(DEX)와의 통합을 통해 네트워크 유동성을 제공하고 루트 네트워크에서 XRP를 가스 토큰으로 활용합니다. 나아가 Ripple은 2023년 FutureVerse의 5,400만 달러 규모의 시리즈 A 펀딩 라운드에 참여했습니다. 

 

최근 파트너십을 통해 FutureVerse는 Ripple Custody 솔루션을 활용하여 디지털 자산이 Ottó 블록체인에서 주조되기 전에 저장할 예정입니다. 

XRP Ledger의 다가올 프로그래밍 가능성 

두 번째로, Ripple은 2025년까지 스마트 계약과 같은 새로운 프로그래밍 기능을 통해 XRPL을 개선하기 위해 더 광범위한 XRP 커뮤니티와 협력하고 있다고 밝혔습니다. 

 

이 회사는 현재 개발 중인 XRPL EVM 사이드체인을 통해 이 업적을 달성하고자 합니다. 또한 Ripple은 XRPL Mainnet에서 네이티브 스마트 계약을 활성화할 가능성도 모색할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

 

후속 블로그 게시물 에서 Ripple은 이러한 노력이 개발자와 사용자에게 여러 사용 사례에 대한 더 큰 유연성을 제공할 것이라고 설명했습니다. 이러한 움직임의 궁극적인 목표는 XRPL 생태계에 더 많은 개발자를 유치하는 것입니다. 

한국 연세대학교, 리플의 UBRI에 가입 

마지막으로 리플은 UBRI(University Blockchain Research Initiative) 프로그램의 58번째 글로벌 파트너로 한국의 연세대학교를 추가했다고 발표했습니다. 

 

이 프로그램이 시작된 이래, Ripple은 보조금, 기술 리소스, 전략적 파트너십을 제공하여 블록체인 관련 학문적 우수성과 연구를 지원하기 위해 6,000만 달러 이상을 투자했습니다. 

리플 CEO의 반응 

개발에 반응하여 Ripple의 CEO는 최근 공개된 이니셔티브에 대해 낙관적인 입장을 표명했습니다. 구체적으로 그는 XRP 커뮤니티가 블록체인에 스마트 계약을 도입할 수 있는 향상된 프로그래밍 가능성을 요청해 왔다고 언급했습니다.
