''Regimento de Navegación'' (image 1) is a manual that provided essential rules and guidelines for maritime navigation, specifically targeting ship pilots during the 16th and 17th century. Ripple's triskelion is featured within the version authored by Andrés García in 1606. This manual was commissioned by King Philip III and involved significant reforms to the maps and navigation instruments used by the Casa de Contratación, the Spanish agency responsible for overseas trade and navigation. The Fugger family continued financed various aspects of the Spanish Empire under the Empire of Charles of Habsburg, remember ''further beyond''? This included funding military campaigns, exploration, and colonization efforts. In return, the Fuggers received lucrative concessions, such as control over silver mines in the Americas and other mining interests in Europe. The Fugger family provided significant financial support to Charles V during his bid for the Holy Roman Empire. In 1519, Jakob Fugger lent Charles V a substantial sum of money, which helped him secure the election as Holy Roman Emperor. The Fuggers’ impact on finance in the 16th century parallels #Ripple's influence in the 21st century. Fuggers with their banking influence and #Ripple with blockchain technology. The Fuggers' role in transforming finance in the Habsburg era set a precedent for modern financial innovations like those introduced by @Ripple and $XRP.
