I was led to a thread where Tiffany Hayden discussed how Ripple got its name. Thinking this was interesting because of the song "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead in 1970, I kept reading… She says and shows both David and Chris Larsen claiming that the name Ripple came from a super fan of the Grateful Dead. She thought this was interesting because the original owner of the domain, Ryan Fugger, had the domain Ripple. com registered to himself in 2004. She found it odd that both guys claimed it was from a ‘super fan’ when the website was clearly owned by Ryan via Ripple Communications. If Ripple was shortened from ‘Ripple Communications,’ why did they claim it was from a Grateful Dead fan? As she did more digging, she found out the website a year before was owned by a girl named ‘Dixie’... The photo she linked of her looks like a stock image 😂 ‘Dixie’ owned Ripple. com before Ryan did, and the website was a link to ‘The Great Basin,’ something to do with birds or something. Also, weirdly noted by Tiffany, ‘Dixie’ is somehow the same owner of a domain that was registered as buttholio. com. This alludes to the idea that this was a fake person who owned the website, unless this ‘Dixie’ girl also liked the cartoon show Beavis and Butthead and was also a Grateful Dead super fan... Somehow it turned to the creator of Bitcoin. With more digging, she linked this photo and said that the person who registered Bitcoin. com in 2008 was the same person who invented mechanical Turks. The IP address that registered everything for mechanical Turks back in 2003, she claims, is the first IP address associated with RipplePay 👀 I don’t know what this all means, but I do know it means people first associated with Bitcoin are associated with Ripple. Nonetheless, Tiffany Hayden, a former employee of Ripple (very close to everything), did some digging and claimed the IP address associated with RipplePay. com is the same one that registered everything for mechanical Turks. The guy who invented mechanical Turks, is associated with Ryan, the man who helped create what RipplePay is. To add to the intrigue: Arthur Britto, the mysterious man... He intrigues me so much. The first IP addresses doxed from a Bitcoin forum back in 2009 when 3 people were using the network... Two of the people were: Satoshi Satoshi’s second account Hal Finney The IP address that was leaked from Satoshi was traced back to San Francisco... Could be nothing, but I think it’s weird how Ripple’s headquarters is in San Francisco. So, I’ve been digging into how David is really not Satoshi but had direct ties to him one way or another!! Possibly she’s saying ‘Dixie’ is Jesse, the person who owned Ripple. com before Ryan. This would make sense because Satoshi name-dropped Ripple in his white paper. The only other system to do anything with trust or something. Funny enough, Ryan had a paper about trust and IOUs in 2004 😏 Jesse / ‘Dixie’ / domain owner of Bitcoin handed Ripple. com off to Ryan in 2004. The same IP who owned Bitcoin. com owned RipplePay... Jesse. Mechanical Turks register 2003 - by Jesse Jesse’s IP is the same as the one associated with RipplePay RipplePay - was owned by ‘Dixie’ - 2003 Ripple was transferred to Ryan - 2004 Ryan is Canadian so he couldn’t be Satoshi.. If Jesse had the same IP as the one who registered Bitcoin. com & RipplePay And the only people on Bitcoin at its start was an IP from San Francisco (Arthur possible?)
